"You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves." — Mary Oliver
Self-aggression often enters our most well-intentioned ways of working with our embodied selves. It appears in exercise, yoga, sports and daily life, causing injury, stress, burn-out, and a sense of never being good enough. Lasting improvement arises most effectively in a learning mode. In the Feldenkrais Method, we understand that learning is enhanced in an environment of non-judgmental awareness and curiosity, encouraging exploration without fear of mistakes. Through Awareness Through Movement lessons we will explore the rich terrain of learning that unfolds when movement becomes a vehicle for self understanding rather than correction.
This workshop is also open to the public.
