Conference 2008 Workshop Open To: Practitioners
Time(s): Cost: Fees |
Whether determining how to develop your Functional Integration skills, figuring out what to do at the next study group meeting or planning a tutorial for trainees or teachers, how do we understand what makes for proficiency? Which are the crucial observational abilities? How do we foster “Feldenkrais touch” and cultivate skillful self-use? What does it mean to practice a pedagogy that claims to have no principles? When is learning happening?
Day One: Overview of requisite FI abilities, guideposts for evaluation and a map for stewarding professional development. Day One is presented by Larry Goldfarb and Anastasi Siotas.
Day One is open to all practitioners.
Day Two: Developing competence, understanding and intuition through interactive and collaborative learning. Day Two is presented by Larry Goldfarb. Attendance at the Day One workshop is a prerequisite for Day Two.
Day Two is only open to practitioners with 5 years experience
