Description

Science is based on an empirical theory of knowledge, asserting that events are objective and reproducible within specified conditions.  Many believe that the Feldenkrais Method is non-conventional, being experiential and subjective in nature. The interactive colloquium in the morning will be presented by Ralph Strauch, Carl Ginsburg, Pat Buchanan and Jim Stephens and is open to discussion among workshop participants.

The morning session is open to the public.

The afternoon session is for people who have done, are doing or planning to do research on the Feldenkrais Method.  Two sets of discussions will be organized among qualitative and quantitative researchers.  Cross-collaboration is encouraged.  Participants should read the series of papers in the IFF Research Journal Vol. 1 and Vol.3, available at http://www.iffresearchjournal.org/index2004.htm and http://www.iffresearchjournal.org/index2007.htm.
