Conference 2008 Workshop Open To: Practitioners / Trainees
Time(s): Cost: see rates |
This workshop is sold out. Daniel Stern, in his study of infant development, The Interpersonal World of the Infant, describes the development of a core sense of self. What is this core sense and how can we make use of this concept in our work as Feldenkrais practitioners? In this workshop we will explore this question with examples and Awareness Through Movement explorations that lead us back to the core.
Trainees attending this workshop must be enrolled in Year 3 or 4.
Carl Ginsburg (1977), PhD, has been a Feldenkrais trainer since 1991 and has written extensively about the Feldenkrais Method. He is now completing a book, The Intelligence of Moving Bodies.
Lucia Schuette Ginsburg (1990), a trainer candidate, received her basic Feldenkrais training with Mia Segal in Holland. She has worked extensively with children as a special education teacher and in her Feldenkrais Method practice.
