Conference 2011 2011 Conference Workshop Open To: Public / Practitioners / Trainees
Time(s): Cost: $125 |
Developing the capacity to tune into one’s own inner organization has tremendous value for ensemble work. Listening to oneself - in the widest sense - and joining with the listening of others to themselves, creates a very different texture of composition. Through a progression of ATM lessons, interactive and group processes, improv exercises in various combinations, and performance, we create the circumstances for a wholly different music - without rehearsals, scores or, for that matter, anything already known. The musicians meet, compose themselves, and play.
Participants - professional or amateur - are asked to bring their instruments and/or voices.
David Kaetz (2001) is a Feldenkrais® practitioner, musician, storyteller and writer. He is the author of Making Connections, a book about Moshe’s cultural background, and co-translator of Moshe’s childhood writings, soon to be published in English and German editions.
