Are the resident and workshop rooms air conditioned?
All workshop and event spaces are air conditioned. The dormitories are NOT air conditioned, small fans are provided.
Will I have to walk far between workshop rooms?
Workshop rooms are less than a 5 min walk from each other.

HOW TO GET THERE
Bradley International Airport (BDL) is located in Windsor Locks, CT, which serves the Hartford/Springfield area and is approximately one hour from Hampshire. There are shuttle services to and from all area airports.
Amtrak has limited service to Amherst and extensive service to Springfield, MA, just 30 minutes from Hampshire. If arriving in Springfield, transportation to campus is available through Peter Pan Bus Lines or by shuttle service.
Peter Pan Bus Lines run from New York and Boston to Springfield, where there are connections to Amherst and Northampton. Once in the area, take advantage of the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority bus system.
Seemo Shuttle and Valley Transporter offer shared and private service to and from Hampshire and all area airports, bus, and train stations. Seemo Shuttle boasts hybrid and biodiesel vehicles, while Valley Transporter is the largest airport shuttle service in the Pioneer Valley.
What equipment will I need for my workshop?
It is not necessary for you to bring any equipment for your workshops. Each year, we are grateful that area practitioners generously loan us their professional equipment for use during the conference. If you are driving to the conference and are able to bring tables, rollers, stools, or head rests, please let the Conference Coordinator know at:

Equipment Check-In will be in Franklin Patterson Hall. Please look for signs when you arrive on campus. We appreciate you trusting us with your equipment and will treat it with care.
