2013 Conference Workshop
Open To: Public / Practitioners / Trainees
How does nature mentor us to navigate through obstacles and head-winds toward vitality? This workshop uses Awareness Through Movement® lessons to fine-tune the coordination of our arms and shoulder girdle, using nature as metaphor. We will draw inspiration from animals with fur, fins and wings to clarify how we as humans use our arms. Inquiry methods from nature tracking will be used to stimulate imagination and connect beyond our perceived limits. Explore differentiations with your arms and shoulders to help move toward our human potential.
Annie Thoe (1996) Assistant Trainer, has been integrating her naturalist, tracking and survival studies with the Feldenkrais Method® for decades. She also has an extensive background in healing modalities, martial arts and currently teaches Sensing Vitality Classes for elders, Awareness Through Movement® classes and retreats on Whidbey Island, WA.
