Description:

David Zemach-Bersin began to study with Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais in Berkeley California, in April of 1973. Eight months later, he traveled to Tel-Aviv, Israel to continue his studies. Each day for nearly five months he sat in a small room at 49 Nachmani Street and watched Dr. Feldenkrais give Functional Integration® lessons. During the next 10 years, David traveled to Tel-Aviv four more times to study and work with Dr. Feldenkrais.

“During my visits to Israel, I would often take notes while watching Moshe’s give Functional Integration lessons. In 1984, the year that Moshe passed away, I moved, stored the notes, and never saw them again, until last fall when I discovered them amongst many old papers. I was stunned to find my description of many interesting and creative lesson situations which I had completely forgotten about.”  -David Zemach-Bersin

During this special workshop, David will:
demonstrate, explain, and analyze FI lessons he witnessed in Tel-Aviv.
Discuss the strategies behind and within the lessons, as well as how Dr. Feldenkrais generated different permutations or variations from one idea or FI situation.
Highlight the functional perspective of the lessons.
Teach special $AMTREG$ lessons he did at Alexander Yani.

You will learn how to:
better deconstruct and understand Dr. Feldenkrais’ work.
deepen your confidence with Functional Integration
use new, clear, potent and fundamental Functional Integration structures.

Optional lunchtime activities:
