Participants in this workshop will be given a new way to plumb the depths of Awareness Through Movement® lessons. Certain structures of thought and modes of action that are implicit in lessons will be made explicit. How can we regulate and evaluate our actions while we are in the midst of them? Awareness Through Movement gives us the means to regulate and modify our actions in ways that neuroscience and cognitive science are just beginning to validate. Without a deeper understanding of how lessons work they are just sequences of moves without consequence. To give them their true import lessons must be accessible, provocative and impactful.
