Description:

Balance is fundamental to our success as two-legged rather than four-legged beings. In this workshop, you’ll explore the dynamics of balance.

You’ll benefit whether you have a yoga or other movement practice, or simply walk and stand in the course of your day.

Requirement: Please be comfortable standing and walking.

Limit: 15 students.

What to wear: Several layers of loose-fitting clothing.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Angela Alston, GCFP, MFA,
began taking Awareness Through Movement® in 1996. She trained at the Feldenkrais® Institute of NY with David Zemach-Bersin, and at the Feldenkrais Center of Houston with Paul Rubin, two of Dr. Feldenkrais’ original US students. Angela offers a regular series at MoveStudio and Our Space and workshops in Dallas and beyond. She also offers private lessons (Functional Integration®).(http://angelaalston.clickbook.net/) Angela has studied yoga and dance, and is an award-winning maker of dance films.
