Understanding the relationship of the head and neck to the entire spine, to breathing, to the pelvis, to the hip joints, knees and feet, is the key to practicing Functional Integration® at our highest level.

The skeleton, musculature, organs, our processes of perception, and all of their inter-relationships affect the individual, sometimes leading to discomfort. Improving our ability to view and sense our client through these sub-
systems, separately and in combination, will move our practice to a deeper level of proficiency.

We will use carefully selected Awareness Through Movement® lessons, lecture and audio visual presentations, and much time dedicated to Functional Integration practice to move each participant forward to their next level of understanding and skill.

This training will combine two elements: a four-day training as described above plus the option for a fifth day of study and practice for those who wish to go more deeply into the subject.

The fifth day will:
- start with an ATM® on our theme open to the public,
- be followed by an FI® demonstration with a subject from the public,
- include discussion of the FI as an example of our theme,
- continue with FI instruction and practice
- finish with an ATM

We believe in providing a safe and challenging atmosphere where practicing teachers can bring their questions and show what they do not know so that each can take home their own next steps in practice.
