Whether you have a yoga practice or would just like to develop more awareness of your hip joints, you’ll benefit from this workshop. When your pelvis moves naturally, your upper and lower body coordinate to produce powerful, precise, graceful movements, and ease in moving or sitting.
Limit: 15 students.
Requirement: Please be comfortable lying on your back, stomach, or side, and floor sitting.
What to wear: Several layers of loose-fitting clothing.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Angela Alston, GCFP, began training in 2005 at the Feldenkrais Institute of New York under the direction of David Zemach-Bersin, and completed at the Feldenkrais® Center of Houston with Paul Rubin, two of Feldenkrais’ original US students. Angela offers a regular series at MoveStudio and workshops in Dallas and beyond. She also teaches private lessons. She has studied a variety of movement forms, including yoga and dance.
