Life can be challenging.

How do you deal with challenge?

Do you struggle/ effort/ push/ force?

Do you hold your breath?

When you focus on a goal do you lose sight of the process?

Through the Feldenkrais Method®, learn how to approach difficulty with curiosity, presence and sensitivity. Let go of struggle. Discover surprisingly effortless solutions.

Moshe Feldenkrais created thousands of ingenious movement lessons to address the diversity of human functioning. Some of the lessons in the series will be taught from transcripts of Dr. Feldenkrais’ classes known as the Alexander Yanai series (1950’s-1970’s).  While some of these lessons involve dynamic, challenging movements, if you move with attention and within your own range of comfort you will find rich learning and improvement regardless of your ability to perform every movement. Meaning- if you can take care of yourself, you can do any of the lessons (even in your imagination).

less: pain & stress
more: ease, flexibility, balance & power

• improved posture
• improved body image
• awakened creativity
• increased vitality
• enhanced well-being

Jan 27-March 10 (no class Feb 10)

“Tiffany & Matty are gifted teachers who expertly and gently guide us through the movements and (surprisingly) I improve even faster when I listen to my body, rest and do the movements in my imagination. I’ve found that taking a weekly class has had a significant impact on my life - I know I wouldn’t have healed and changed as fast as I have without Feldenkrais.  Even the challenging lessons are absolutely doable and frankly, are fun and exciting.  By the end of a class, my body is softer and lighter and I often feel like I’m in a child’s body again.” - Christine B.

“It is healthier to learn than to be a patient or even be cured. Life is a process not a thing. And, processes go well if there are many ways to influence them. We need more ways to do what we want than the one we know— even if it is a good one in itself.” - Moshe Feldenkrais
