Many of us spend most of our lives sitting at desks. We get up to walk or exercise and notice our feet and ankles are like cement blocks. In this workshop you’ll re-discover the joy of hopping, jumping powerfully with one foot. The result: more efficient and pleasurable walking and running.
Please be comfortable lying on your back or stomach, floor sitting, and standing. Wear several layers of loose-fitting clothing.
You’ll benefit from this workshop if you are a meditator, yogi, or simply interested in being more comfortable in your physical self.
Limit: 12 students.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Angela Alston, GCFP, MFA, began taking ATM® in 1996. She trained at the Feldenkrais® Institute of NY with David Zemach-Bersin, and at the Feldenkrais® Center of Houston with Paul Rubin, two of Dr. Feldenkrais’ original US students. Angela offers a regular series at MoveStudio and workshops in Dallas and beyond. She also offers private lessons (Functional Integration®).
Angela has studied yoga and dance, and is an award-winning maker of dance films.
