Your pelvis is your power center. When your pelvis can move freely, your hip joints are freed, you’ll turn and bend more easily. Running and walking will be easier and more efficient.

Who benefits: Yogis; Athletes; Anyone who’d like to increase their movement pleasure

Limit: 15 students.

Requirement: Please be comfortable lying on your back, stomach, or side, and floor sitting.

What to wear: Several layers of loose-fitting clothing.

Angela Alston, GCFP, MFA,
trained in The Feldenkrais Method® of Somatic Education in New York and Houston. She has studied a variety of movement forms, including yoga and dance, and she is an award-winning maker of dance films. Angela has an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in philosophy and biology from Swarthmore College.
