Discover the capacity of these natural shock absorbers! How movement travels through your trunk (or doesn’t) greatly impacts the health of your knees, hips, shoulders, neck and back. In a sense, the ribs are the shock absorbers of our structure, protecting our joints from strain and injury. In this 3.5 hour workshop we will use Feldenkrais® principles to explore movements that can re-awaken the capacity of the rib cage. With better flexibility and coordination in the trunk, we alleviate pain and dysfunction to create free, efficient and powerful movement. If you are interested in understanding yourself and the way you move on a deeper level, the Feldenkrais Method® is an invaluable tool. This workshop is for anyone who wants to exercise without injury or improve their performance in physical endeavors.
