As a yoga teacher, Sarah draws from years of experience working in-depth with the body. She works to facilitate whole body alignment in her students, both physically and energetically. Sarah’s teaching is a breath-inspired practice that focuses on flowing in and out of poses with ease, finding places that work for each individual body. Physically, a class with Sarah extends far beyond yoga poses. She teaches from her own experience and practice of modern dance, Feldenkrais, body mind centering, authentic movement, tuning scores, material for the spine, and her daily practice of living in 2012 and keeping her moving senses alive. Sarah has experience working with bodies suffering from chronic pain, injury, illness and other forms of dis-ease. With hands on adjustments, she delivers insightful results and a greater sense of ease and body awareness in her students. http://www.sarahbyoga.com
Curiosity, exploration and creativity are at the core of Tiffany’s teaching. Before her four year Feldenkrais® training and three year Authentic Movement training she lived mostly in her head and hands, making visual art. Now she practices living in her body daily. Tiffany’s teaching is rooted in her own personal transformation and a deep respect for the for the innate intelligence and wisdom of the body. She empowers individual students to deepen their own learning process through sensory rich movement experiments. In classes and workshops, Tiffany holds the space for the unfolding learning of the whole group, recognizing we can all benefit from each other’s insights, challenges, surprises and connections to other areas of life. When we expand out from habitual & compulsive ways of acting and moving, we open our lives to greater flexibility and freedom. Tiffany works with a variety of populations including artists, actors, dancers, athletes, seniors, and those who struggle with body image, neurological difficulties and chronic pain.
